Bah. I still have to pay off Mass Effect. I'll try to either wait for Christmas or wait till I get my first pay check.

Is it me or does Asssassin's Creed's gameplay get recycled a bit? I'm getting a little further in the game myself and I'm realizing, I'm just running from city to city and doing the same things over and over again: save a citizen, eavesdrop on someone, pickpocket a guy, collect flags, scale lookout points and finally assassinate some high ranking official. It seems that's all you do from city to city...am I wrong?

I have to agree with this, however, I don't think that that makes the game less fun.  Sure, the missions are the same, but they still manage to remain interesting as the game progresses.  I'm on my second playthrough (to earn all the achievements), and I'm only beginning to tire of the investigations

I won't argue that the gameplay isn't fun anymore, but the missions get stale. I mean the core gameplay mechanics are seemingly revolutionary. They're so damn fluid. But it's like...how many times can you sit on a bench to eavesdrop before it gets boring. You do it so much in the game. If the missions were a little more varied I don't think the game would fall victim to this. I mean that's my personal opinion though.
