I have a 8800 GT & the settings are on high. I do get a slide show maybe a little, but not that much though. I'm playing at a resolution of 1280 x 1024.

I do love the Map Editor. Im trying to figure out where to place the trees, bushes, grass, rocks, buildings, roads, trails, & whatever else.

Anyways I love this game.

I'm still looking forward to the sequel though.
While I haven't played Crysis since like E3 2006, I did think it looked fantastic. I can honestly give a shooter that does have immersive and interesting play mechanics a slide if its story is less than fantastic. As long as it's a complete blast to play , story doesn't mean AS much. It's a different type of experience than say BioShock.

I think this applies to comedies too. There are a lot of hilarious movies that have horrible stories, but they're damn funny so because of that I can overlook its storytelling flaws.

IceAxe, what's your memory and cpu? Cause i have an 8800 GTS and it runs at about 20-50 throughout the game @ 1680x1050 on high (no AA), depending on how much action there is around, i have a core duo and 2 gb or ram, though.

Screen time!  Resized them and saved the .JPG files a lower quality than I normally would since on other forums I don't post them as thumbnails and didn't want the load times to be too crazy =P

Runs much better than the demo did which is good since the demo had killed my hype.  Can run it well at 1920x1200 with AA off and everything set to very high minus the shaders which I have at high since it is a slideshow with that set to very high.  Gameplay wise it is decent but nothing amazing and just as it started to get really good and pick-up you enter the caves and so far it has been nothing but a downhill experience since then.
