I have to admit, at first, I was not feelin' this game. My first impression was that it was completely sloppy and gratuitous, and if I wasn't playing it to review it, I would have taken it out of the Wii during the third level and never looked back.
Luckily, I had a couple of friends on AIM who were also playing the game, but they were in love with it. I couldn't understand how, but they were. Suffice to say I gave them my impressions, they gave me theirs, and eventually, things started to "click" for me.
At the end of the day, No More Heroes wasn't a complete and total disappointment, though I still contend that it hit the market before it was complete. I think my review illustrates why fairly well, but I'm interested in hearing what everyone else thought about the game and discussing it further. If nothing, NMH makes me excited to think about a NMH2, because honestly, if all the elements in this game came together like I think they were supposed to (but ultimately didn't), I have no doubt it would be one of my favorite games of all time.

People keep saying all I talk about is the blood, it's what truly surprised me. This game is probably the most visually lush game available on the Wii.
