I don't know about it being specifically the Wii's fault, but I can see this generation as a whole hot helping out the dwindling industry in Japan.

Well, to just blaime Wii is wrong, but Wii has the same fun as the arcades you play at the gamestores.
But I have never been a fan of these arcades, so I don't really care.
