I doubt they really need until August to finish Mercenaries 2 which was supposed to be released last September, they've delayed a large majority of there games and not just because developers need more time to polish off the game, mainly because its a better sales strategy. I really could care less, I'm tired of having to wait six months only to find out I have to wait another six months and so and so fourth.

But the release date is kind of funny to me because it reminds me of The Simpsons Game. There's a level where you have to battle against stuff Wil Wright throws at you. After the classic "I'm Wil Wright, bitch!" Homer says something as you try to progress: "$10 says Spore is never released"
It is PC only for now minus a DS spin-off.  And a mobile version that has never even been shown so I wouldn't count on that even showing up.  Has never been announced for a single console though.

As for the release date.... I will believe it when it is in my hands.  Been delayed far too many times for me to trust a release date confirmation.

People are telling me two things. I don't know if my PC can run Spore or not, I think it can.

If it was on the 360 I'd be very happy.

Well I think it's a little too late for them to start making a 360 version, we're already getting enough delays without them having to work on a port.
