I don't know, you guys gave a 10 to bioshock and I think GTA IV is better. Every little detail that could be put in was. It's a game that deserves a 10.

IMHO, GTA IV does A LOT of things good, but really doesn't do anything excellent. The graphics are okay, the driving is okay, the story is okay. The one thing they DO, hands-down pull-off incredibly is fit all those things they do great into one package. Content is the theme of GTA IV, and there's plenty of it. Some games try to perfect a few mechanics while allowing others to wither, while GTA IV pays careful attention to every single element in their game. It's a shame that the hardware of this generation isn't powerful enough to allow the team at Rockstar to perfect all its mechanics.

I find the driving very iffy. It's great sometimes but damn hard other times. I like the story but I'm not sure exactly how far I am into it. I know I've completed about 40% of the game so far. But you're right Andrew, it focuses a lot of content. There's so much to everything. I love it.

All I'm saying is that compared to bioshock GTA IV is a better game. One thing it does do VERY well is shooting it feels very real.

They could have done a lot better with the way it looks I think. It looks updated, but it still looks blocky to me.

So I just finished the main part of the game last night. The only thing that pissed me off a bit: I completed the story in 30 hours... and 5 minutes. Missed the achievement by that much lol. Now comes R&R in LC.

I think it's wrong to put Bioshock against GTA. They're so different. We don't rate a game against every game that's come out before; we review it against itself. We obviously felt Bioshock was more perfect in what it attempted to create than GTA. But honestly, people need to stop whining over a few measly decimals. This will not change the fact that we all fucking love the game. So go play some more.

I'm not whining, merely stating out.

And yes I have been playing GTA... A lot but I'm stuck at the fucking elizabeta mission where you have to get the cocaine out of the old hospitial. Tips anyone?
